Just like at Easter Islands, Tayloristic organizations grow more and more complicated until they collapse. This combined with the atmosphere of fear is what brought NOKIA Mobile Phones to it's knees 2011.

There is a robust connection between Fearless Leadership, Learning and successful work Coordination in large organizations. We explain the phenomenon through the examples of NOKIA Mobile Phones, 200 years of military Leadership, and 3000 years of Societal Collapse. Two things stand out from the failing cases: Fear and ever growing complexity.
